Hi All,

I like to have my project generate stripped pdb file in command line option. I tried with the following options in my command line:

msdev myproject.dsw /MAKE /LINK /PDBSTRIPPED:Test.pdb

there was no error once I run the command, but it didn't generate stripped pdb file named "test.pdb" in the folder. I also tried the other way as:

Link /PDBSTRIPPED:Test.pdb

but it didn't work either. Anyone has any suggestion

Thanks,

vcfan

See http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/y87kw2fd(VS.80).aspx.

"The /PDBSTRIPPED option creates a second program database (PDB) file when you build your program image with any of the compiler or linker options that generate a PDB file (/DEBUG, /Z7, /Zd, or /Zi)".

Thanks Einaros. I already saw the documentation, but I couldn't make it in my command line as shown on my first posting. I even tried with:

msdev myproject.dsw /MAKE /DEBUG /PDBSTRIPPED:test.pdb

No error, but didn't find the test.pdb as the stripped pdb.

Thanks.
