I've installed qt 4.2.1 commercial with MS Visual Stdudio 2005 Professional. I applied Service Pack 1 and KB930895 patch to avoid qt application compile problems. Now I want to build mysql plugin to access mysql database, which is foundation of my application. In MS VS GUI, application compiles without problems, but when i try to build mysql plugin with:

qmake -o Makefile "INCLUDEPATH+=c:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\include" "LIBS+=c:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\lib\opt\libmysql.lib" mysql.pro

nmake

then nmake reports:

Microsoft (R) Program Maintenance Utility Version 8.00.50727.762
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

NMAKE : fatal error U1065: invalid option '-'
Stop.

I tried to run nmake wit simple test makefile and in directory where no makefiles resides, but I get same error. What is going on Can someone help me

Try to check enviroment variable MAKEFLAGS. It is used by different clones of MAKE and some development system create it during installation. A most simple way to solve problem is to unset MAKEFLAGS in command prompt.

Thank you very very much!!!! The problem has been solved, since MAKEFLAGS were pointing to QNX Neutrino RTOS settings!!!
