Re: Visual C++ Language fatal error

talotore

#ifndef RC_INVOKED

#include_next <stddef.h>

#endif

can someone tell me why im getting this error

"fatal error C1021: invalid preprocessor command 'include_next'"

thx

Re: Visual C++ Language fatal error

Range_Finder

Im also having this problem and its true it definately says #include_next

i think its got something to do with either Dev c++ or multiple files called stddef.h

ive seen people say its probably dev c++ but im trying to compile a game engine that was setup for visual c++ 6.0 and i still get it.

Re: Visual C++ Language fatal error

Marius Bancila

include_next is not a recognized pre-processor definition recognized by Microsoft compilers. What compiler are you using

Re: Visual C++ Language fatal error

Range_Finder

thats kind of the problem im using VC++5.0 Express and as you said it doesnt recognise it but it cant find Windows.h or winnt.h either and i need both of them too.

I think the include_next is in a library file to do with Dev C++ which probably explains why thats not working. :)
