I've noticed that adding crypt32.lib to the additional libraries section of my project settings adds /QMFPE- to the end of the command line for the compiler. Then the compiler warns that /QMFPE- is an unknown option. How do I eliminate this warning

I'm using Visual Studio 2005 SP1 to build a library against the Windows Mobile 5 SDK. The target is an ARM processor.

If this isn't the right forum and you can can redirect me to the best one I'd appreciate it.

Re: Visual C++ General Linker settings change will change compiler command line

Simple Samples

http://search.msdn.microsoft.com/search/Default.aspx query=%2fQMFPE&brand=msdn&locale=en-us&refinement=00&lang=en-us

In QMFPE Warning because of WS2.lib on x86 the suggestion is to "post your question to : microsoft.public.windowsce.embedded.vc", however I don't know if that is relevant to your problem; you should look at the other results too.

Brendan C.

Those posts did not help. I'll try posting on the VC++ forum. EVC is not relevant. Thanks anyhow.
