Hi

I have a schema ,that has several elements, some of which are of type image (xs:base64Binary)
what I want to do is to

1) open a word document
2) attach this schema to Word
3) add the elements from schema into word document ( of course the the image elements too)
4) Then I want to save the document as as *.ml and *.xslt
5) then I will use this *.ml,*.xlst and an *.xml to recreate the orignal document so that the xsd tags are replaced with values from xml ( including the image)

Now the tag line is I can perform the above mentioned steps for elements other than those of type image.
Can anyone please tell how to add images in the word document from xml.
is there any problem with xs: base64binary or images have to added some other way i.e. may b adding an image control first then linking it to schema element etc

Thanks in advance.

I am sure its a piece of cake for you people.

My question is simple

I want to insert data (text) and images into a word document from an xml document.

I have a schema ,that has several elements, some of which are of type image (xs:base64Binary)
what I want to do is to

1) open a word document ( believe me I cant do :) )
2) attach a schema to Word - lets say it is MySchema.xsd ( I can do this too using WordDoc.XMLSchemaReferences.Add() )
3) add the elements from schema into word document - of course the the image elements too (The user of my application will do it )
4) Then I want to save the document as as mydocument.ml (I can do this too)
5) I will extract XSLT using wml2xslt
6) I already have an xml document that conforms to MySchema.xsd
7) I will open this xml in word using WordApp.Documents.Open()
6) then I can use wordDoc.ApplyTransfom() to generate a word document so that the xsd tags are replaced with values from xml ( including the image)

This works fine for textual data. but my problem is that I can not figure out a way to replace xsd tags that are image.

If you can suggest some other way out, I am open to that too.

Thanks in advance
