I created a very simple Excel addin where I added "Stop" to the "ThisAddIn_Startup" handler.

When I run the program, the excel spreadsheet appears, and the handler is ignored. It does not stop.

Since a couple of days ago I was debugging an Excel VSTO program and everything was working properly. What have I done It seems to be a Global problem, sinces this simple worksheet was just created, and it won't work either.

Thanks for your help

Leon

PS. Word Addin's work properly, as do PowerPoint ones.

Hi Leon,

have a look if your AddIn is disabled.

See: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms269003(VS.80).aspx

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

I figured out what happened from an answer to a similar question.

When in debug, never tell Excel (and perhaps other office applications) that you want to disable the addin. It will disable VSTO for excel ( ) and prevent you for debugging later.

Once this has happened, you need to click on"Help" in Excel, and then open their "disabled" addin list and delete your VSTO file from it.

Never new such a "blacklist" existed, or where to find it.
