I posted earlier about my install troubles and just read a post about the vsto packaging which further explains my problem. I desire to make document vsto apps with action panes for word 2003.

I have office 2003 professional sp2 installed.

I have visual studio 2005 professional installed.

I have VSTO SE installed.

I do not have VSTO installed.

As Cindy has clarified and I have found out you apparently need to have more than vs2005 pro installed.

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/54ds2za4(VS.80).aspx

But of course I was going under the impression that VS2005Pro would suffice to be allowed to install VSTO based on this chart..

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa718657.aspx

If this second chart is true and I have an MSDN subscription where do I downlaad or receive VSTO

Please clarify.

Hi,

If this second chart is true and I have an MSDN subscription where do I downlaad or receive VSTO

Wouldn't it be best to log on to Your MSDN Subscription account and then see what is available or not If VSTO 2005 is not among the items then Your present subscription does not include it.

Thanks.

I now have found the MSDN collection of Cds and have been given MSDN access, things are looking better.

I love bureaucracy.

Its going to be a good day finally.

Thanks for the help.
