    - How do you set the input focus to the ActionsPane with VSTO when loading in Word? Yep, we are selecting the first portion of the Word document at load time. Our TreeView in the ActionsPane has elements that represent areas in the document. It would be great if the selection could be maintained and have the input focus on the tree at load time. This is the preferred behavior but, like you suggest, we could work around the issue by not selecting. If you have any ideas to pull this off I'll give it a try. Thanks for the help. Copy "IssueTemplate.xlt" into your Office Templates folder (for example, "C:\Documents and Settings\ <Your Profile Name> \Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\" ). This path can be found in Word (I really wonder, why only Word can set up this values for all Office ): Tools->Options->FileLocations tab, UserTemplates parameter in a list below). In any way, when you click on "Insert New Sheet", you should see "IssueTemplate.xlt" in the offered list. After all these actions, run your template from VS. You should pick exactly " IssueTemplate.xlt " as a new sheet, when VS stated Excel! And then try to swap sheets.     - Selection.Move infinite loop on Word 2007 document Hi Cindy, First, the reason I'm using the Selection object is I want to call get_Information from inside the loop and I've found the performance is much faster using the Selection object than using a Range object. The foreach (Word.Paragraph para in doc.Paragraphs) loop does work correctly, but it's much slower when I put the get_Information call in. Second, the example is just a generic Microsoft financial document that I found to easily demonstrate the problem. Even if Word tables have odd behavior, I would expect the paragraphs to sequence in some order. I don't really care what the order is as long as it doesn't loop back on itself. Third, I did find a workaround using a combination of the Selection and Paragraph objects. The code is below. It's not very pretty but it does work and it does terminate correctly at the end of the document.. ' failed. I am receiving the error in a VSTO Add-in for Word 2007 - this add-in accesses another VB.net assembly that uses oledb to lookup information in an Access db. Why would this suddenly appear following the yesterday's security update I am thinking I must need to set some OleDB permission parameters or machine-level security policy in Caspol.exe (or both). I am developing a windows application. I suppose to implement word's autocorrection option in my application like accessing the entries, replacing, adding new word to list and deleting. Anybody have idea please send the reply.

Hi Suraj

Your question is off-topic here. I've seen you post in a couple of newsgroups, and not get many responses. Probably because what it is you're trying to accomplish is unclear. Certainly, there's no way to incorporate Word's built-in functionality in your own application. It's confined to Word (and other Office) documents. You'd have to build your own.

Hi Thanks for your response,

What want to say is : i am developing a windows application. It is basically an editor, there i have to implement spell check, auto correct functionality etc., I achieved spellcheck functionality. But I am not able to do auto correct. (This option is same as in the word). Is there any way to achieve this funcationality.
