Hi

I am sending appointments to Outlook from an application I developed in VS2005 as in(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/220595)

This works fine for the default calendar.

The question is how to send to a specific users calendar

Thanks

Do you mean that you want to create an appointment on another Exchange user's calendar, one for which you have write permission Or do you mean that you want to create a meeting request, add another user as a recipient, and send that request, which the other user will have to accept

Hi Sue

Thanks for your reply.

the appointment will be on another users calendar for which I have write permission.

Thanks

Jay

In that case, use the Namespace.GetSharedDefaultFolder method to return the other user's folder, then use the MAPIFolder.Items.Add method to create the appointment in that folder. See http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx id=405 for a code sample.
