I have a windows form (not a toolbar) in my Outlook add-in with a button. Can I add an office button to it if I know its FaceID Failing this, where are the Office Icons stored on the computer (ie which .exe .dll etc )

No, there's no way for you to access built-in Office icons as "resources" for your WinForms. Would be nice <g>, but no...

Someone in a specialized Office newsgroup (see the Please Read First message for some links) might know this, for their application. But I'm not sure whether doing so would be legal.

Simpler for you (whether legal or not I don't know) would probably be to go into Customization mode (Tools/Customize), right-click on the button with the image you want, then "Copy Button image". Paste this in a graphics program and save that as a graphics file. You could then use that as a resource.
