Hello

I just developed an application using Microsoft Access 2003 and I would like to compile it to run in runtime environment. Can any one help how to compile and make it as runtime and deploy the application. Presently I am using Access 2003. I mean do we need any tools to make runtime. If tools are required where will i get the tools.

Hi Reddy,

Absolutely, this is not a VSTO issue. But could you please be a little more specific, so we can try our best to help you. If we cannot, we would redirect you to the right place.

My guess is that:

1) You are working on an application which takes Access as your Data Base.

2) You are working on an Office Automation application which manipulates the Access application.

Whichever assumption it is, you developed it successfully, and at now you are trying to deploy it to the client machine, right

Thanks

Ji

Hi Ji

Thank you for your reply. Sorry! I couldn't reply to you immediately. Let me tell you what I need.

I have developed small application by using Acess with forms. I would like to compile it to use in another computer where there is not Access program and also I can hide the database controls for safety purpose. My question is whether can we compile the program and run on a computer which doesn't have access If yes then what is the procedure to do it How can I do it

Hi Reddy,

Your question is far off-topic in this forum. However, from my opinion, I dont think you can run your application (using Access as its data base) on the client machine without Access.

Thanks
