hi,

 how can i reffer the Completed task color and Overdue task color   in outlook 2003

i have 3 conditons and based on that conditon the task should be displayed in different colors.

Are you referring to the category color This can be done using the Category.Color property.

Thank you for your reply. actually i want to reffer the over due task color and completed task color. here i am trying to change the task color automatically when it get completed. here i have som more conditions ie based on the SLA i have to set three color changes. other wise please suggest some other solution to perform this.

An automatic formatting rule is the only way to change the color in the tasks folder. You will need to change the rules manually. THey are not accessible in code in versions before Outlook 2007.
