Hello, if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Where I work, we have 3 people that would like to have the Access Developers Extensions (ADE's) and the Package Wizard for the purpose of distributing Access 2003 applications to users who do not have Access on their machines.

We were wondering if this meant that we need to purchase 3 licenses of the Visual Studio Tools for Microsoft Office (VSTO) or can we install the ADE's and Package Wizards on 3 computers with just one copy of VSTO (assuming that is all we install from VSTO)

If we do need to purchase 3 licenses of VSTO, we probably would just upgrade to Access 2007 (this would most likely be the cheaper option).

Thanks in advance.

Bob

Hi Bob,

In VSTO installation CD's setup folder, we can find a eula.txt file which describes all the end user license agreement. In the file->1.OVERVIEW->b.License Model, it tells that the software is licensed on a per user basis. So I am afraid you have to buy three licenses for VSTO or upgrade to Access 2007.

Thanks

Ji
