Why did Microsoft not add new Add-in for MS Project 2007

I use VS 2005 SP1 + .Net 2 , I write on C#, I don't wanna install Net 3,5 and also VS 2008.

Please help me how I can create Add-in for MS Project 2007 on C#

Hi,

You can create an Add in for MS Project, but that is a Com Add In: (VSTO still does not support Project Add In)

1. In Visual Studio, Menu File->New->Project

2. In left panel of New Project Dialog, navigate to Other Project Types->Extensibility

3. In right panel of New Project Dialog, choose Shared Add-in, type the projectĄŻs Name and click OK

4. In the Wizard, you can choose C# as your project's language, and select Project as supported Application.

5. After the project created, choose the Add In project. Menu Project->AddInProject properties(depends on your project name).

6. Navigate to Debug Tab, and choose Project as your Start external program.

You can develop C# Addin for MS Project 2007 using the Beta 2 release of Visual Studio 2008. You can download the beta from the MSDN Download page here:
