I have installed SQL Server 2005 (32 bits Dev. Ed.) in Windows 2003 (64bits OS) Server.

Which Service pack I should install. I am little lost that 64 in file name is for OS or SQL Server.

SQLServer2005SP2-KB921896-IA64-ENU.exe

SQLServer2005SP2-KB921896-x64-ENU.exe

SQLServer2005SP2-KB921896-x86-ENU.exe

Thank you - Ashok

You need to use x86 version, the 64 in file names refers to the version of SQL Server.

But I am curious, why did you choose to use 32 bit version if you have 64 bit OS - seems like you are throwing away both performance and scalability...

Thanks Mosha. You are correct it's a temporary thing.
