    - Calculated Average w/o a dimension specified OK, Here's another one... I want to create a calculated member that compares the current member to the average of the other members at the same level the member is in. The catch is that I want this to be a calculated member in the cube that works regardless of what dimensions/hierarchies the data is broken down with. The MDX below shows what I want to do except that it requires the SERIAL_NUM hierarchy to be hardcoded: Code Snippet WITH MEMBER [Avg] AS AVG([SERIAL_NUM].Siblings, Measures.[Count Of Failures]) SELECT NON EMPTY { [Measures].[Count of Failures] , [Avg]} ON COLUMNS, NON EMPTY { ([Vehicle Info].[SERIAL_NUM].[SERIAL_NUM].ALLMEMBERS ) } ... The end result should be something like this: SERIAL_NUM Count Of Failures Avg 423343 10 30 432434 20 30 123123 60 30 But I again, I don't know what dimensions hierarchies will be used later on, I just want all the values the user is currently looking at be included in the calculated measure. If they replaced SERIAL_NUM with MODEL as the dimension, I want it to perform the same calculated on the data provided from that query. I tried something like MEASURES.SIBLINGS, MEASURES.MEMBERS, etc, but they returned only the current value, as it appears to be the lowest hierarchy so it has no siblings. (The end result, BTW, is not the average, but the number of std dev's a certain value is from the average of the other values, essentially a dynamic outlyer flag. What happens is that the SQL Server process running in DomainB cannot authenticate itself with DomainA to interogate the Active Directory (because its service account is in DomaniB and DomainA does not trust it). Open a query window to the SQL instance in DomainB and run this statement: EXECUTE AS USER = 'DomainA\SomeUserName'; It will give an error with an OS error code, that code is the explanation why you cannot create users of DomainA on the instance on DomainB. One way would be, as I mentioned above, to run the instance in DomainB (say the Forwarder) as an user in DomainA (that, specify the service account). But once you do this, you will ot be able to authenticate the Forwarder with the Target (for the same reasons). Unlike desktop Windows (or Windows Mobile for that matter) Windows CE is a modular OS, it consists of literally hundreds of small pieces which are selected and combined together by device OEM to produce OS for particular needs. For example CE device which is intended to be mounted inside industrial air conditioner does not need graphics support - it has no screen so why waste ROM on it So OEM would build so called "headless" OS image for that. Obviously applications which are using anythig related to GUI won't run on such device because there's a dependency missing in the OS (GUI in this case). Same is true for all other applications - whatever they are using needs to be in the OS or they won't run. SQL CE you've got is compatible with CE 4.2 in general but it can't run on just any CE 4.2 device. It would only run on images which include all dependencies required by SQL CE.     - What solutions make returning from a disaster easier? I'm trying to figure out what solution (replication, mirroring, clustering) would work best for me. I have been reading many articles in BOL and in this forum. Most talk about getting data TO a backup/standby/subscriber, but I can't find a lot of info regarding getting the data BACK after a disaster is over. We have a main office and a disaster recovery facility. Most of the time there are no data updates at the disaster location. So, I need to get data to the disaster facility via WAN (latency is not a huge issue - end of day syncing is fine) for backup purposes. In the event of a disaster, the main office will be offline and data changes will happen at the disaster site. When the disaster is "over" and we return to the main office, what's the best scheme to reverse the data back to the main office to start business again We are a financial company, and have gigabytes of relatively static data. Most changes are current day. So, to snapshot a 100GB database when I know only a few hundred MB changes a day doesn't seem feasible to me. Most replication scenarios (at least from what I see) can't easily "reverse" the replication after a disaster situation. I'm looking at merge replication on a schedule which seems to look good, but was wondering if anyone else has any ideas or suggestions Tag: How to drill down on fields

I build and deploy the form to the Symbol Pocket PC to test - no connection to data and it works.     - Second opinion on how to build this cube I am building an OLAP cube for a report using SSAS 2005 and SSRS 2005. On a warehouse database there is a single de-normalized table containing the "production" data with 30+ columns and 3 million+ rows of data. However only 4 of the columns, 10_years_age_group, calendar_year, customer_id and city, is required for this report. Also another "lookup" table containing the data for all the cities population with the columns, 10_years_age_group, calendar_year, city and population, and it is used to calculate the percentage of the "distinct customer count" over the population of that city, 10_years_age_group and calendar_year. On the report, the "calendar_year" will be the report parameter, the "city" is on the row, "10_years_age_group" is on the column and the detail is "distinct customer_id/poopulation" express as a percentage.     - SQL databases and SBS 2003 I have run into this issue repeatedly when installing applications on SBS 2003. The application needs a database and looks for one when installing. It sees the SQL 2000 databases pre-installed on SBS 2003 for monitoring and reporting and assumes it can use them. Ultimately the program grinds to a halt because these instances cannot be used for the application (I'm assuming). The program should install it's own instance of SQL . I end up spending quite a bit of time mending the installation by manually installing some "lite" version of SQL and piecing it to the application. Hi All ,

I am new to Sql Server and Reporting services ..

I was trying to make a drill down report

I have created Grooup on detail row and set the Visibility with one of the group rows just above ..

But when preview the report I cannot see any data ..

How ever If I Delete the Groups I can see the data ..

Is there anything that I am missing Please help

Did you specify the toggle item Otherwise you won��t be able to toggel the hidden rows.
