Hi all of you,

It seems that colleagues need our info stored in our sql25k cluster for FoxPro.

How could I extract them using SSIS

Thanks in advance

Can't you use the OLE DB driver for FoxPro and just create data flows to move data from SQL Server to FoxPro

You won't be able to export per se using SSIS into a DBF formatted file.

Hi Enric,

You will need to know which version of FoxPro your colleagues will be working in.

You can download the FoxPro and Visual FoxPro OLE DB data provider from http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vfoxpro/bb190232.aspx and use that like you would any other OLE DB data source. However, it will create DBFs in the Visual FoxPro format. If you need to have the older FoxPro 2.x (or dBase IV) format then you should use the OLE DB data provider for Jet.

Morning to both,

Goal desired is making a DBF file.

But either way, finally it'll be done using Excel and then they'll do its conversions.

Thanks.
