    - Change the schema of a mirrored database Greg, You don't need to stop the mirroring, you can perform any changes in the principal db and it will automatically get reflected in the mirror db......you can verify the same as follows, 1. add any column in the principal db and it will get reflected to mirror db automatically then after 5 minutes 2. in the mirror db take a database snapshot and just query through the table you can see the column which was added....     - recursive calculated measure So, if I read this right you want to calculate BigA which is the BigA value of the previous period adjusted by some other values. The logic is recursive and would seem to require every calculated value to walk the time dimension back to the last entry in the dimension. One suggestion would be to pre-calculate the BigA value in your data warehouse using a cursor and "walking forward" through your time dimension over time. Because you are not dividing anything, you should be able to calculate this at the leaf level and then use the SUM aggregation function in SSAS to return the correct value. You don't have to have a Transaction Log Backup to restore a database if it's the only aim to restore a database. How do you try to restore it exactly Can you show us the RESTORE DATABASE command that you use to restore your DB P.S. I doubt this could be because of the Recovery State that you use while restoring it... If you do not want to keep your database in a Restoring... state, then you ought to use "RESTORE WITH RECOVERY". Hi,

Just to say that I was using the Data Port Wizard to convert MDB to SDF and back, and it has worked perfectly!

I highly recommend it to others that have the same need.

Just make sure to be using SQL CE 3.1
