Thanks Shus, f1001 is not part of the clustered index.
There are about 60000 rows in the table, the table structure is,
Create table order (
FID integer identity primary key,
F01 varchar(20),
F1000 varchar(3),
F126 int,
F113 varchar(10),
F1001 float NULL,
F111 float NULL,
F112 float NULL,
F129 datetime NULL,
F130 varchar(4) NULL,
F30 float NULL,
F31 float NULL,
F32 float NULL,
F33 varchar(1) NULL,
F35 datetime NULL,
F36 varchar(4) NULL,
F62 float NULL,
F63 float NULL
);
I create an index, CREATE INDEX ORDER_IDX ON ORDER (F01,F1000,F126,F113,F35) .
when excute the DELETE and UPDATE query, it always get an error "lock time out" after long wait. And if I take off the F35 from the index, everything back to normal.
Any idea
