The column have the policy status for the current month. if you look into function select substring (stat_198612 + stat_198701 + stat_198702 + stat_198703, position, 1) as status you have concatenated all columns , looks good, but I am not certain about how more columns I would have after a period of time . if I write a dynamic query , function has end up with schema. I just have added one more record into insert into dbo.policyStatusMap values ('199503', 1) and when I execute select dbo.policyStatus ('AAB', '1409504', '00', '199503') as policyStatus returns me the same result as 'f' where as the policy had a status 'i' for the month and year..........     - Digest Authorization on HTTP Endpoint Since on Windows Digest requires a domain controller, I assume that your network environment is already setup correctly to support Digest authentication This is something I do not know - when I talked with IT about it before, they told me it was a developer problem and wouldn't look at it any more. This could very well be the piece I'm missing - what is it I could have them look at The server running the SQL Server is running Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 edition, and the SQL Server version is 9.0.2175 Local System: XP Pro SP2, browser I was accessing the wsdl with is IE v6 with all patches updated, and is setup to go through a proxy server. Note that I get the same results if I attempt to create a web reference to it from a project in VS2005, which probably isn't that surprising. I don't have access to the java code that will be accessing the final version, so I was trying go get something working on my end first, before telling the other developer to hit it.     - Query with CASE and NULL values I'm sorry, I think I didn't explain my self. The problem is in the WHERE part, No in the SELECT. When @IDUsuario has a value, then the query return the record with the NULL value, and that is not correct. I tested the service account's ability to query ADS in this way: On the server, whenever I adjust NTFS permissions on a file or folder and want to add an ADS account or group, I have to supply an ADS username and password to query ADS. I did this using the SQL Server Service account's name and password, and I was able to "check names" in ADS. I'm assuming this is a valid test. Also, in one test, I set the owner of the job to the service account and the job ran. So, it looks like the service account has permission to check itself in ADS, but not other ADS objects. (Assuming the SQL Server Service account is the account actually making the query to ADS.) So, I'm still not certain if I need to adjust SQL Server, Windows Server, or the ADS service account permission to ADS (which I cannot do myself - I'm on a very large ADS with limited rights to objects).     - Sql server 2000 - xp_sendmail stored procedure Your first step will be to install Outlook 2000 on the machine that's running SQL Server. It must be the 2000 version, unless you're working with an Exchange server, in which case you can get away with 2002. If you're doing SMTP, then use 2000. Then you have to use the usual right click, Run As to launch the Mail control panel for the service accounts used for both SQL Server, and Server Agent. The control panel will likely be here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT\MLCFG32.CPL. If you don't see it, just search for that filename. Set up the email accounts as necessary. If you like, launch Outlook using Run As to test that it's all working. I'd highly recommend doing this before moving on. After you've got the accounts settings in order, go over to Enterprise Manager, and work your way to Support Services > SQL Mail beneath the server you're working with. Right click the icon in the tree and go to the properties. Pick the name of the MAPI profile that you just set up using the Mail control panel. This will allow xp_sendmail to (hopefully) work. To get Server Agent sending notification mail properly, go to Management > SQL Server Agent, right click and go to properties. Pick the mail profile you set up (note that this mail profile must be one associated with the Server Agent service account). It's kind of a pain to get it all working, but once you do, you'll wonder how you lived without it. Tag: SQL MOBILE Table Adapter Prob

The second recordset gets re-used in the loop so this will only have 10 rows max at a time and has 4 fields.     - Export report to PDF programmatically (forms authentication) I use ReportExecutionService class to export a SQL reporting services report to a PDF file. It seems not work, and failed at method “LoadReport”. The error message said: Object moved to <ReportServer Login Page>. I think, it’s an authentication problem. The report server is set to form authentication, and I wrote a custom security DLL, and share the auth cookie with ASP.NET Web application. It works fine with ReportViewer. I set ReportExecutionService.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials. It looks like my network login windows account (MyDomainName\MyUserName), and of course it is failed. I read the ReportExecutionService class members, and can not find way to pass auth cookie, or some kind of forms authentication object into ReportExecutionService class. Does anyone render report into PDF (HTML) file successfully by ASP.NET code for forms authentication I search the sample code over internet. The sample code only uses CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials, and it looks a windows authentication credential. Am I wrong Thanks for any suggestion and advice. If the resulting set is small (like 10,000 medium sized rows or less) use a recordset destination in your dataflow. (recordsets live in memory and can get too big) After the dataflow task use a forEach loop with a ForEachRecordset enumerator. This will loop over the rows of the recordset one at a time. The enumerated value is a Fields collection, so getting individual fields into your send mail task (which lives in the loop) may require some small script. I have just changed my application for SQL EXPRESS to SQL MOBILE. The problem I am having is that everytime I try to configure a table adapter with a query which users more than 2 parameters, I get an index out of bounds error and the query won't work. Is there some sort of limit in SQL MOBILE that I can't have tables with more than two columns in the primary key
