I am running SQL 2005 Enterprise Edition on a 2 node cluster. Can I install SQL 2005 Standard edition on the same cluster

While technically you 'should' be able to, one has to ask if it is a good idea.

Are you attempting to have another instance of SQL Server (Standard) that can 'fail-over'

sql2k5 standard edition supports 2-node cluster. So, there should be no problem for you do to so. However, if you already have enterprise edition, why would you want to install std Why not just install another ent instance Perhaps, you're not running under cpu licensing... Running std would be cheaper then.
