Not without doing some work, but it is possible. One option is to create your own custom persistence service that does not remove the old persistence point when I new call to persist comes in and to use custom activites with the PersistOnClose attribute. If you want to back up you just reload one of the earlier persistence points. Another is to create a custom root activity that handles this functionality. The problem is that the parent activity is the only one that can execute / cancel its direct children so you aren't able to have arbitrary execution. You might also try the ConditionedActivityGroup activity if you don't want to create something. Set up the When conditions so that they execute the children in whatever order you want.
