Hello,

I have created a workflow in SharePoint designer, however, I've come to the realization that I need to take control of the code and I would like to do development within Visual Studio.

How do I take the workflow that I have created within SharePoint designer and edit it within Visual Studio

Thank you,

Alan

Hi,

It is possible to load the XAML file (WorkflowName.xoml) into visual studio and edit the workflow, the problem is when you do this, the workflow will not make much sense, and it will be hard work to modify it and reuse the code. I've not experimentes with this too much, but it may be quickest to re-code the workflow as a new workflow in Studio.

Regards,

Alan
