I have an msi installation built using Visual Studio 2005 Setup & Deployment project. I added a shortcut to the primary executable whose requested executed level is "requireAdministrator". How can I add a "Run As Administrator" option to the context menu of the shortcut.

The same case with a Click-Once application where the application needs to run with elevated previliges but the shortcut added to the Program Files just opens the application. However, I want to allow the user select "Run As Administrator" option from the Context Menu of the shortcut.

Please help. Thanks.

You'll want to include a manifest with your application. Are you working an app for the Vista Logo program

Yes, I am working with an app for the Vista logo program.

We have embedded a manifest inside my exe with a post-build event. However, when we publish the application using ClickOnce the manifest disappears. We assume that the publish process doesn't run the post-build event when it builds the application for publishing. Please help.

I'd read through this information and make sure you have both a deployment and application manifest.
