I've got a development domain with a certification authority set up and I'd like to use it to generate or at least sign keys generated elsewhere for signing managed cards... is there a guide or section of the docs that I've missed

You haven't missed that part.

I'm just getting my Sample STS upgraded to RC1, and I'll try to get a walkthrough using standard generated certificates soon.

Thanks,

Has any progress been made on this I've had trouble trying to recreate the Proof of Concept STS example with my own certificates for the Relying party. The certificates work fine for the secure web site, but when Cardspace opens up, it complains that it cannot verify the certificate. Presumably this is the difference between normal certificates and EV certificates. The warning can be ignored and the user can procced, but I would like to create the correct certificates if possible.

Anybody else managed to create self signed CA + certs that are accepted by Cardspace

Thomas.
