I have got some jpg images on a hard disk. How to compress them to avi movie, which could be saved in a hard disk (I am using Windows XP and C#)

Thank in advance.

IMO, this is not something that you can do with DirectShow without an appropriate source filter that can read your jpg images. You could write one easily (derived from the PushSourceBitmapSet example located in the SDK PushSource sample, modified to handle a set of jpeg images instead of bitmaps), but this would require using C++ (or Delphi).

On the other hand, there seem to be a few tools available (freeware or inexpensive) that can do what you want e.g (not tested).
