Hi guys,

I added a simple NumericUpDown control to a C# testapp. Set its minvalue to 0, maxvalue to 200 and the poistion to 50.

Then I start up UISpy and highlight the control.

The control is correctly recognized as a Spinner control, but...

When I look at the ControlPatters-RangeValue then I get this:

ControlPatterns

RangeValue

Value: "0"

IsReadOnly: "False"

Minimum: "0"

Maximum: "0"

LargeChange: "NaN"

SmallChange: "1"

When I try to change the value, it neither works...

Doing this on a Slider, works...

Is this a bug in UIA, any solutions

Thanks,

Nick

Re: Microsoft UI Automation Spinner not working

Hi,

Any updates on this yet

Anybody else having this problem or any workaround to set/get the position of the .NET spinner control (NumericUpDown)

I have tried SendMessage -> UDM_SETPOS32 but it doesn't work...

I tried on all levels, but it simply doesn't work, so I guess it's .NET who is the culprit...

The structure is:

Spinner

-> Spinner ("Spinner")

-> Button ("Forward")

-> Button ("Backward")

-> Spinner ("")

Thanks,

Nick
