I would like to use the SendEmailActivity in my sequential workflow but the example does not show me how to actually set the properties (server, to, from, body etc.). It only says you have to set them in the designer, which is not a very real life scenario. Can anyone help me out with using this activity in an actual sequential workflow

Thanks!

I looked at the activity binding example and I think this is what I need to follow in order to set the properties in the SendEmailActivity. I have configured all the properties in my WorkflowLibarary class and have bound them to the properties of the SendEmailActivity that is in my sequential workflow, but for some reason I am not able to bind anything to the To property of the SendEmailActivity.

All of the other properties in the SendEmailActivity have a blue exclamation point next to them in the properties window and a button which will let me browse to the property in my workflow class that they will be bound to, but the EmailTo property does not have the exclamation point or the button to let me browse to my local property. Am I doing something wrong

Thanks!

I had to change the "ToProperty" dependency property in the SendEmailActivity to the following:

Public Shared EmailToProperty As DependencyProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("EmailTo", GetType(String), GetType(SendEmailActivity), New PropertyMetadata(someone@example.com))

And then fix all of the references to it. I love it when samples are broken.
