hello friends, i created a source filter to play compressed viedo in windows media player, since it's compressed, i need to skip frame in order to show the frames corresponding to the position of windows media player scroll bar.

my question is : how can i get current position of windows media player scroll bar especially when i am only developing a source filter,

You need to support IMediaSeeking in your source filter:

Hi,

Is it sufficient to support IMediaSeeking on Source filter only or is it also required to implement some pass through functions on the transform filters as said on http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa919887.aspx under "when to Implement" section
