i am using transactionscope in .NET 2.0. with Oracle 9i. sometimes, it throws this error (after a minute or so)

Unable to get error message (6106) (0):

my code is below. any ideas

I suggest contacting Oracle support to find out what is the meaning of this error.

please, please, don't pass the buck.

its only affected .net 2.0, transactionscope, and i am using MSoft's oracle .net data provider.

Moving to System.Data forums. This error originates from System.Data.OracleClient.dll and they may have a better understanding of it than we do.

System.Data, can you provide some insight into what may be going wrong here The message is ADP_NoMessageAvailable and seems to only happen sometimes.
