I also thought about maybe giving in and combining the separate classes into a single class, and then making an interface for each type of desired access.     - SqlTransaction and SqlConnection state after worker thread aborted Thanks for your help. I think the symptom of that hotfix is different than mine. My problem is when I execute a time consuming SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery inside transaction in a worker thread and then abort the thread, the SqlConnection.State is 'Closed' and I cannot rollback the tx because ADO.NET thinks the connection is closed and I cannot kill that connection either. It leads to a dead lock when I rerun the same update query by ExecuteNonQuery. I also try to use TransactionScope as an alternative but it has the same problem. For example, GC works on generation levels, and objects created early on in the app are mostly moved to a generation that is assumed to be long-living. But the real issue you have to be concerned about is that you should never depend on GC to free unmanaged memory. Unmanaged memory should be used in the smallest possible scope (local method variables, which are immediately freed before the end of the method). In the case of components like controls, where the unmanaged memory is required for a longer scope, you should never depend on finalize or GC to do anything about that unmanaged memory. Make sure that the control properly implements IDisposable and that the form is closed properly (which should invoke Dispose()). That's really the whole purpose of Dispose - to free unmanaged resources independantly of the GC so you don't have to worry about GC cycles, and the unmanaged memory can be freed on a determinate basis. Try to tell the thread that it should abort (e.g. by setting an Event, etc.) and check at an adequate position for this condition. Hi,

I have deployed my web application (Asp.Net 2.0) in two servers.I put on the source files(aspx and aspx.cs) in DNS server.We used the infragistics web controls in my application(Infragistics Netadvantage 2006 volume1 CLR 2.0).I just shared the folder in DNS server(application folder).Creating the virtual directory in IIS server.

I browsing the application,Got an Error

could not bind the Infragistics web grid (Infragistics2.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v6.1.dll).How to refer this DLL in IIS server.

Note:I reffered the Infragistics web controls in Bin Directory in my application folder.

I hosting the application,I got an Security Exception Error

Server Error in '/website' Application.
