I wrote a code in the App_Code folder that needs to reference a master page class, but I get a compilation error: class not found !; I failed to find the assembly of the project so as to reference it in the App_Code folder.

I need more light to be thrown on the name spaces in ASP.net 2.

Where is the name space of the project !

How do I use Remoting in ASP.net 2; where is the name space that holds my wellknown classes

Any articles

Hi,

In order to get access to the master page from a content page you have to add a "MasterType" directive to the content page. Take a look to this article for more information, http://odetocode.com/Articles/450.aspx

Regards,

Pablo.

Very thanks Pablo Cibraro, your reply was helpful in the area of using master pages,,,

But this was not my point, I was asking about the name pace ASP.net2; because ASP.net2, as it seems for me, does not include a compiled assembly with a root name space as previous versions of it do.

So the question is still valid, where is the output of the project building,

Still waiting for help¡.
