The acropolis videos start by selecting a template for example a ¡°WPF Document Style Application¡± and mention that there will be more templates in the future. I¡¯m working on a computer based training title that will use the functions provide by multiple templates. For example, I can see the functions of a WPF Document Style Application template, a WPF Data Access template and several others being used in my single application. Can you briefly speak to that scenario Will acropolis address this type of app How do you see it working

Thanks a million and keep up the great work!

Hi Mike,

I believe David Hill (Microsoft) answered this question in a different forum post:

Please let me know if the answer is not sufficient. Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Kathy

The explanation was sufficient but the answer was not. What I see in the future of acropolis is a composition wizard that would allow me to merger previously completed acropolis projects into one multi-application type product.

It works like this; I use acropolis to produce a document centric project, then a separate data centric project. I then use a Composition Template Project to help me combine the two previous projects. A wizard would help me import the views and parts, as well as blend them together with navigation menus, etc.

I can see myself composing parts that leverage RSS feed, database access, reporting, graphing and blogging parts.

Composing different application types is going to make acropolis sing!

Thank you for listening
