    - Due to a connection problem, changes you make might not be applied to other computers you use Contacts are still intact... if u sign on using http://webmessenger.msn.com ... (nice interface i must say... mini old Windows Messenger type)... you can see all your cotnacts... but obviously this Live Messenger problem should have some solution.... bcuz i am unable to do voice calls or web cams ...     - Quick Intro to Using the Windows Live ID SDK The sample application that came with the SDK was good, it gave a good example of what can be done with the SDK, but it didn't really give any good indication of how you got there. I understand that the sample app uses the code that's given as examples if methods and properties, but if you look at the Live Writer SDK, they include just a simple Hello World plugin for Live Writer that makes things easy to see what does what. (Admittedly, I did a similar guide to writing a Live Writer Plugin ). I just think that there are people out there who aren't big developers (like myself) but would like to just dabble or who are getting started with programming and want to look at this, and sometimes just being given an SDK document doesn't help, it doesn't show them how to get started. I'm not necasserily saying that it should include a guide like the one I wrote, but just more basic information when first starting out using the SDK.     - Windows Live Mail Desktop BETA Syncronize problems I've downloaded the latest build but I still can't get my Hotmail account to synchronise. My Gmail and Yahoo accounts are working perfectly. I know when new messages arrive but the message body does not display, instead I get this message: "Message could not be displayed Windows Live Mail desktop beta encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again." When I press Send/Receive, I get this message: "Windows Live Mail desktop could not download the requested message.     - height:100% not working with v6 The fix for v6 mashups is to add a width and height of 100% to your body style in your mashup page. The v5 map control sets the body height and width of the page to 100%. 每 so setting the map div height to 100% in a v5 mashup would make it full screen. However, in v6 we removed the body style alteration because not all customers who create mashups will want their body in their page to have 100% height. We concluded the map control should not alter the elements of the page it does not own 每 it does not own the body. A div in an HTML page will fill its parent＊s width and height if you specify width 100% and height 100%每 so if the body of the page does not have a height and a width of 100%, setting the child map div to 100% will not necessarily make it full screen.     - WIndows Live Messenger (Mobile Texting Error) did what you said, didn't make a difference (also whenever i changed the setting from my carriers default (2500) to custom (2500), i went back into the settings page and it had carriers default selected again. I tried changing it back to custom, went back in, and it was on default again.) Either way it didn't change anything. mobile messaging still doesn't work for me and yet it still works for my sister. It used to work fine, i don't know what happened.     - Commisioning Aerial Photography Yeah if Rob can help he has written several great articles on tile servers. We worked with Microsoft Australia to get some aerial photography over three locations back in Jan for Australia Day. The photography should come back as a north aligned geotiff from the supplier. I don't know what the cost was but once you have this for a small area map cruncher is great to correct any alignments and generate all the required tiles yourself. For another project we build a tile generator that takes a folder of geoTiffs and processes all the required tiles from a farm of computers. For large areas with high resolution files it is too hard and slow to do it by hand with map cruncher. Another issue is hosting all the tiles, the latest version of map cruncher supports uploading direct to amazon S3. This is a very cost effective way to store and serve the data, although i hear mixed reviews of it performance. If you need any help with processing the geoTiff files please let me know. Thanks, Jeff Who is this "Transaction Provider" Is this some third party not from Microsoft As you mentioned, contacting a Microsoft BDM (Business development manager) or Sales Representitive is the best choice in getting your answers. This was discussed in a previous thread, but the # transactions was increased to 10k, not 100k from the initial 5k.     - class=VE_PlaceList_Title Sorry about the confusion in the thread. Your post was helpful. What I ended up doing was locating the DIV id and then setting that div element to display:none. There is another child DIV element inside that DIV which holds an A element which is loaded with an onclick event that holds the coordinates that need to be fired to complete the driving directions. What I want to do is fire the onclick event automatically without the user having to click on the link. That should take care of the problem.     - Importing preconfigured mail accounts under Vista Windows Mail Hello again. Well, a new development has appeared with this issue. My utility creates a fully setup SSL account within Windows Mail that shows all of the correct information when viewing the account from within Mail. However, if I make any change in the account while within Mail and save the changes, all of the text inside the actual file is lost. If I go back to the directory and view the file in Notepad, there is nothing there. It doesn't seem to matter what I change, the file is cleared out when you save. The account and all of the correct settings will be held in cache until Mail is closed, then when re-opening the application the account will not be listed. Could the 'utf-16' change have affected this Not sure why all of the contents are wiped away since the file is formatted exactly as one created within Mail. Thanks. Regarding your question about the way it should work, I agree with you that it would be more natural to match bird's eye zoom level with other styles zoom level. However it may happen that you switch to bird's eye at zoom 15 (for example, I didn't check, but I guess it's possible), then when you switch back you still want to have zoom 15 and not 18 as it is by using my example. The guys at Microsoft often read here, so if they will think that your suggestion is good enough they will implement something like a "PleaseMatchBirdsEyeZoomLevelWithMapZoomLevel" boolean property to allow you to choose the behavior Roberto.     - VEPushpin vs VEShape Hi, I have just started migrating my code to use VEShape (instead of VEPushpins) as this seems the right thing to do moving forward. The one thing I have noticed is that when I zoom in and out a PushPin remains drawn at all times, but the VEShape seems to flicker (it looks like it is removed from the map and re-added). This visual effect is not very desirable and looks a bit odd in my application.     - Help Storing Pin Info in Array Brian's solution is correct because loading the GeoRSS feed is asynchronous so it will run in the background while VE will continue executing the rest of your javascript. I've found that a timeout of approximately 3 seconds is good enough to allow the feed to finish loading properly before you can access it. I used AccExplorer32.exe on Windows Live Messenger 8.1.178.

It had a runtime error and quit. It didn't have such problem under SP2 or SP1 admin account. Obviously, it was a user privilege issue.

Anybody know why How to fix this Thanks!
