I modified sample code in Windows Live Contact SDK to add contact to my own address book. I replaced the strSampleWLID with my Windows Live ID and strSamplePUID with my own too, and change the Authorization mode to RPS. It shows successful to create new contact, but I can't see the new contact in my messenger contact list. That's why What's wrong I did or I got a mistake idea

If you go to the "Email" section, you can see it has a property called "IsIMEnabled", and that property has to be true for a contact to show up in your messenger list. However, you may also notice that this property is marked as RO (ReadOnly), which means you canNOT change it through Windows Live Data API. There is a lot of secuirty concerns here so that this functionality is not enabled.

Why the contact control can display contact's image, display name and so on I wonder if the control build based on Windows Live Contacts API

The contact control is not built on the top of Windows Live Contact API. It will be in the near future.
It should not be any problem for you to create URI entry. What's the error you have seen

<URIs> are data set by you for your contacts. It is not provided by your contact owner. When you say logo, do you mean user tile/picture

No it is not the right way to get user tile. Actually, we do not provide tile URI as Contact data at all. You can only get data set by yourself.

Thanks for the answer. I wonder why SDK not provide functions to get User's more information Because some of the info are public viewable on MSN messenger or Live Space, such as Title, Head Image. SDK could open read only rights to these and it will be useful. It's my little suggestion.
