    - Auto-center on ShapeLayer Hello, I want to add a ShapeLayer to my map and the Map should pan and zoom so that all PushPins of the ShapeLayer are visible. In the threads http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx PostID=559624&SiteID=1 and http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx PostID=1231191&SiteID=1 they talk about auto-recentering of the Map. But for me it does not auto-center with the VEMap.AddShapeLayer method (of v5). Can anybody tell me why it doesn't auto-center or what I have to do to get it centered Thanks in advance.     - Windows live messenger won't open Alright people I think I have a possible solution. I got mine to work by reseting my router, I didn't know how this was fixing it but it was. So I looked more into it and it seems when someone on my network including myself starts msnmsgr.exe it creates exceptions in my routers firewall, but its adds so many it clogs the page and I can't delete them and once it hits the max exceptions msnmsgr.exe won't run anymore and I must reset my router once again to get it working.     - Can I use same Pushpin for text and picture? Am refining my first map and would like to use a custom icon in the default onMouseOver to display text, and use the same icon to display a picture while the left mouse button is held down. Is this possible I already have the onMouseOver and custom icon working and assume I need to incorporate the onMouseDown and onMouseUp events.     - Must mantain current zoom level when reloading map Hi, My application is a Winforms application that shows in a WebBrowser control an HTML page I generate "on the fly". That is, application writes all needed HTML and Javascript code to show the user the corresponding map with serveral pushpins at a concrete zoom level. Of course, user can zoom-in, zoom-out and so on in the showed map. However, every 5 minutes fires a timer that writes again the HTML file (in case new pushpins must be added) and shows again the map to user. My problem is that when rewriting the HTML file, I always go back to the initial established zoom, without remembering which was the zoom the user was in. Before generating again the HTML page, I need something to store the current zoom level (using map.GetZoom()), so that new HTML page starts at that zoom level, instead of the initial zoom level. Therefore, where to store current zoom level so that it is accesible when generating next HTML page (new map) Any ideas are wellcome. Thanks very much in advance.     - Portrait PhotoStack? Retrieving from Flickr in order? Hi ppl, b4 I begin... GREAT WORK! Ok.. now that I've done some boot licking... 1. Can someone make a portrait (sp ack! I can't spell!) photostack 2. Retrieving photos from Flickr should retain its original order no Especially the retrieve PHOTO SET option.     - HIGH QUALITY VIDEO on Messenger Live This is a bit irritating but it seems that online video chats haven't really advanced in the past few years. Even though me and my brother are both in NYC, both on a 5MB download, 1MB Upload unbelievably fast Cable internet connection, Video chat still looks the way it did 3 years ago when we were on a 512kbps dsl, and not THAT different then it did when we were on 33,600 dial up modem. WHATS THE DEAL Why can't we get proper high resolution video streaming off each other at 640x480 and 24fps Or even higher for gods sake, my dual core machine with 4GB of ram could handle this!     - push pins and background Okay it seems to be some strange rendering issues with internet explorer. If I take out the comments in your commented section, your code will work if I switch between yellow and red, but fails for yellow and transparent. However, inside the code it understands that the window has changed to transparent colour (because it switches between the if statements and displays different alerts), however the browser is unable to render it properly. It would be great if we could specify the display height and width of Silverlight controls used to display images and text, such as PhotoFlip, PhotoStack, Page Turner, etc. One example is when Page Turner is used to display images with text in them, such as Google Books, where the existing control size makes these images impossible to read.
