It seems that Yahoo Video's are not playing in Video Player, even though if one grabs the URL for the video it plays fine. I have logged a bug on this. I reckon by the code the decoding is much faster then the encoding, but it would be great to check. I have seen a serious increase in performance, I guess sending only 25% of the data over the internet increases performance more then the decoding can cancel it out. John.     - How does filter work with substrings? I can't make this work for me... I'm trying tofilter images obtained with a Image Scrapper block using a filter block. In the list parameter of the filter block i choose the ImageURL property of the Image Scrapper. On the condition parameter I'm trying a custom one like this: x.toString().toLowerCase().indexOf("/images/") > -1 and it doesn't work at all. What I'm trying to do is to filter and show only images that contain the word "/images/" in the image URL, inorder to avoid the other ones. Any help will be appreciated. Regards Jose.     - DeleteRoute() not completely deleting route Hi all I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I have this weird issue with the routing function of Virtual Earth. I can plot a route, and route after route everything is ok. However, when I want to clear the map using my functions and reset it back the default view for the page, I issue various commands behind the map, one of which (and the first to run) is DeleteRoute(). When DeleteRoute() runs, it removes all the pins representing the instruction points on the route, it removes the start and end flags, but I'm left with a blue line on the map, and without refreshing the mapping pane, I can't for the life of me get rid of it. I've had a look on both the interactive and reference SDK, and they work a treat in my browser, and my own pages, but I copy the code letter for letter from the reference to my own code, and the blue line still remains. Has anyone had this problem before Or know what would cause this not to go away My manager's on my back to try and sort this out, so all help's muchly appreciated. I have found that if the user has to scroll down on the page, then when they hover over the pin, the message will usually appear much higher than where the map is.     - balloons show in wrong place, or don't show at all Here's a simple page that seems to exhibit the behavior. Scroll down, the map is at the bottom of the page. Mouse over the pin and the balloon pops above the map in the blue area. I see this on IE7 and Firefox 2. Seems to have something to do with scrolling the page. No idea how to fix it though. Therefore if you want to override the positioning just change the CSS stylesheet at: http://maps.live.com/css/bin/1.3.1115150037.31/en/api.css In there you'll find a reference to VE_PlaceList and all the elements inside it.     - Live Messenger lag or sth Hy, I've just downloaded the newest version of Live Messenger. Or at least the one the notification asked me to download. Before it everything was ok, but with the new version, there is a 10-20 sec lag, when a contact changes his/her displey picture. I can't do anything during this lag. It sort of crashes, but after a while everything is ok again. It even effects the conversation when a contact whose conversation window is closed, switches his/her displey picture. Or at least I think so, because if only one window is opened, there is still a lag sometimes. I wonder if the fault is in my system (@2.8GHz AMD, 256mb GeForce and 512mb DDRAM) or is it the problem of Messenger. I tried to find some patches or things, but I couldn't manage. Therefore I ask you for help. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, I'd be very grateful. sorry I know this is the wrong forum, but there is no newsgroup or other forum.

All the modules on my personalized live.com site (IE 7.0 / Vista ultimate) show only "loading...".

I have tried log in/log out, delete the temp Internet files and the cookies XYZ.live.com but no luck.

I can't delete the modules, because I neither can click on the "x" nor options.

Any ideas

Yeah, it is not the right forum for it. This forum is designed for development and coding issues related to Windows Live.

I guess try delete all the cookies not just that particular one. Have you try running it on Firefox or other versions of IE or other machines to see if you have the same problems Also, check Managed Add-Ons to see if there are anything that might be causing the issues. Sorry that is all I got here.
