    - Constant Server is Busy Error One thing to note is if you pass an invalid collection ID you get a server busy error. I guess this probably isn't what happedned for you but I have on occassion missed the bits after the exclaimation mark and been puzzeled by the same error message. John. Oops, just noticed something - mapcruncher can be run from the command line, so it might be possible to set up a script that periodically downloads new radar images and their corner coordinates, generates a mapcruncher config file, runs mapcruncher, and then overwrites the old tiles with the fresh ones.     - Tile Server and Security Your custom tiles are requested directly from the client in javascript. So for example if those tiles were secured to your network, or by authentication, then you would quite happily have a secured way of functioning. Except that if the information is transmitted across a public network it can be intercepted and read, just like anything on the internet. The usual solution is SSL. Unfortunatly you cannot run VE under SSL, serving that many images would be a performance nightmare.     - why WLM doesn't call CreateTextService? I am programming with WLM 8.1. Now I have a problem that ,in order to get or change input text in IMWindowClass, I hook "loadlibary" and check dll name,if it was named "Riched20.dll", I got CreateTextService function point and load ms riched20.dll. This way is available to msn 7, But it is not available to WLM 8.I hooked CreateTextService ,but WLm 8 seems to not call CreateTextService function. If I understand exactly what your saying is that you want the v3 dashboard to be positioned (and probably look similar) to the v2 dashboard. I mean you could hack the API to position the v3 dashboard to be in the center, but it'll overlap the center of the map which will look really ugly. I think you will find that Microsoft pricing is extremely competitive for Intraweb applications which is on a per user per annum basis.     - Virtual Earth printing Maps This issue is not fixed in v5. This issue was reported a long time ago, but I have never seen a resolution. When I first come to a page with a map displayed using Firefox and I print the page, it works fine. If I move the map and try to print again, the custom pushpins, Virtual Earth logo (in the lower left corner) and map scale and copyright info (in the lower right corner) all print, but the map tiles don't.     - WPF App using VE maps Hi, I have to create an application using VE maps in WPF, the problem is that I can't get the map images to put them in a polygon. I've tried using the VE maps Control inside a WebBrowser control using interop, but the problem with this solution is that I can't draw WPF shapes on top of the WebBrowser control since it uses a diferent airspace from WPF. I even tried to look at the html generated by the map to see if I could grab the images somehow drawing the control offscreen, but it seems that the control renders with in memory HTML.     - Route Blue Line - Custom I'm sorry I was not clear before. Where should I post questions to find out technical details about the Live Desktop app I would like to know, for example, if it's possible to develop plug-ins for it (like for Outlook) and if so how it should be done.

Hi Esto, welcome to the MSDN forums.

The Mail Desktop team has their own Windows Live Space over at http://morethanmail.spaces.live.com/. This is probably your best bet for finding out more about the Mail Desktop application (new releases, general information, etc.).

I think that the application does not support plugins at this moment.
