Weavor, I'm still working to get an official response for you, but I believe the answer will be that the LiveID SDK doesn't support what you're trying to do, trying to bring multiple browser sessions under one LiveID client app umbrella. I'm not sure that the LiveID SDK tokens generated for the stand alone client app can affect or apply to the browser sessions (since browser sessions don't affect each other either). -Danny Tag: Problems with application register

    - push pins and background Martin, A couple of things I'm noticing: 1) Assuming your using the code from the wiki, your method signature isn't matching: AddClickablePin(location, icon_url, title, details, iconStyle) Using your signature below will generate an error: AddClickablePin(1,-0.459610397815704,51.6549480199814,"./bcirclesm.png","Name 1","A3"); 2) I'm able to get a background change running off a pinID on page load.     - Virtual earth default view The easiest way to change the map view for virtual earth is to use the setMapView method on virtualEarth. To do that you need to use the "Advanced Mode" of the block which allows you to write custom javascript. The ones that are labeled by the name of the user account.. are processes run by the user. though you seill need to be carefull which ones of those your end. I either sort mine by CPU or by Mem Usage.. and end the ones with the highest amount but are also ones that I know what they do. A good program also to show what they do and are is.. The framework was designed to support it, but as far as I know Messenger only supports 1 and 2 user activity's for now. 2. You can set it to True in the msgrp2p.xml file right Then it should work...     - Commisioning Aerial Photography In answer to your question, yes new aerial imagery can be substituted in virtual earth from a technical point of view. The cost of acquiring the imagery is extremely expensive, and requires specialist cameras to do the job. The question is does your site justify the expense, which could run into 10k or more, and would require regular updates e.g. per year. Getmapping PLC is the specialist in this area and it may be worth speaking to them as a starting point. Duncan Garratt Tag: Problems with application register

    - User Input in Virtual Earth Thanks for the feedback, this is a known issue with Virtual Earth and unfortunatley we invoke a method to display Virtual Earth before your mashup code is ran.     - PopFly Suggestions Thanks for the suggestions. We have had a few others talk about having revisions, as well. You also make an interesting suggestion w.r.t leaving notes for oneself. Today, we do support annotations, which are not really an equivalent for detailed notes, as you are suggesting. I state this as a temporary solution. We will look into these for a future update. However, if I run YOUR mashup, I do see the code. Very strange. 1) Does it look okay when you use Preview mode If yes ... Do you have / have you entered a Flickr Developer Key 2) Have you tried re-saving (Save As) your mashup with a different name Maybe it got written incorrectly to the server 3) Do you see code when using something other than Carousel, like PhotoStack or PhotoTiles Hope this helps, but if not, the Popfly team should be back on Monday.     - How do I get rid of: See this location in Virtual Earth popup? The only way I see of doing this is to make a call to map.HideDashboard because that notification is linked up to the dashboard whenever a map.load call is made. If you do this then you'll need to create your own dashboard. From what I can tell this is being generated in a method called Msn.VE.NavAction which generates all the controls (and is quite massive) so you'd likely have to override this entire method to prevent that notification from being generated in the first place. Hopefully this is something we can ask Microsoft to allow us to remove in the next VE release. Hope that helps, Tag: Problems with application register

    - Issue passing VELatLong array Ok, following up on my own post, some of you may find this interesting. I was able to fix the issue by changing two lines of code. I had to explicity convert my 'lat' and 'lng' values to int, and now it works. var lat = parseFloat(strLatLng[0]); var lng = parseFloat(strLatLng[1]); polyPoints.push( new VELatLong(lat,lng)); Btw, I am using this code to parse WFS requests from a geodatabase and put the polygons on VE map.     - predownload whole tilesets on a PDA Unfortunately that would be a violation of the terms and agreements. In terms of mobile access your better off using the Mappoint Web Service which serves static maps which is much quicker / suitable for mobile use. Also since you just want to display it for personal use you can use a MWS developer (trial) account to do the work for you (you would be stuck with the staging watermark on your MWS maps however) Tag: Problems with application register

    - Deploying Live ID desktop application Are you really sure you want to do this The Client SDK is currently in alpha -stage and is probably unsupported in a production environment. In a video on Channel9 Lynn Ayres (PM for Windows Live ID, if I remember correctly) said that a lot of things will change in upcoming versions, so be sure this is what you want to do! It's possible that you'll have to rewrite your entire application because of changes in the Live ID Client SDK. However, if you want to do this, I think (not sure though) it should be enough to put the LiveID.dll-file (or whatever it's called, I have never used the SDK) in your application folder on the target machine... But since this is still an alpha-version, I'm sure the team will come up with a working solution for this particular issue... Tag: Problems with application register

Hi, i could not register new applicattion, I could not obtain app ID after

filling and processing the form it takes me back to form again with notification

about an exception which has occured. I do not know if this is internal server problem or perhaps

I am doing sth. wrong. Maybe I should not use localhost within redircet URL, but

when I tried to use existing domain the exception still occured.

Any help would be appriciated.
