Seems like Popfly automagically figured out that I don't have Silverlight installed. But when I click da button to install it my anti-vious software says it has a virus.Any thoughts

- FindLocation issues Hi all, I'm having an issue with the 'finding' of infornation using the FindLocation() method. I got it working on my implementation of VE v4.0 a couple of months ago, and it all worked fine. Just recently though, the results returned don't seem as comprehensive. For example: I'm sure that searching on 'Croydon' used to return Croydon in the UK as well as other Croydon's around the world. Now, however, the UK location does not get returned. Likewise, it used to return from UK postcodes, but not anymore. I was just wondering if something has changed within the API My implementation isn't live yet, so no URL I'm afraid. I'm trying to read locations from a database and then draw them on the map. - Place VE Tiles onto sphere just as a side project, I'm trying to place virtual earth tiles onto a sphere made in WPF. I am using the 4 largest tiles created as a single PNG. My problem is with placing the texture coordinates, the continents are all the wrong size because I don't know what parts of the tile to match with the spheres latitudes (because I don't know where the latitudes are on the tile). - account is temporarily unavailable Hi, We have several bots running and with one of them we experience a lot of problems, The status is online, thats because its a provisioned account, but the message can not be delivered. We think that someone is trying to hack the password,. We tested it with an another account and when you try to login 12 times with a wrong password the system goos in somekind of lockdown. The strange thing is that happends only when the the account is not logged in. So we think that someone is running a script, and when the bot is offline for a few sec. it happends. - SharePoint Authentication with Windows Live ID Hello all, With the launch of Windows Live ID 4.5 service in January, 2007, we now support logging into SharePoint 2007 with a Windows Live ID via Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS, formerly ADFS) with some limitations. AD FS allows credentials compatible with WS-Federation Passive Requestor Profile such as Windows Live ID to be mapped to an AD account. SharePoint then uses the mapped AD account to authorize activities. There are current limitations however when using this model, specifically with the Office based SharePoint editing tools. I don't have the specifics yet, but am working to put together a short 1-pager describing how to setup and what the exact nature of the limitations are. Additionally, the SharePoint and AD FS teams here at Microsoft are working on the outstanding issues to allow Windows Live ID to be more naturally integrated and fully supported with SharePoint. - Embed not working I have created two simple mashups. Both work in preview. I saved both to My Projects, shared them, went to Mashout and copied the Iframe code. - 600kb uncompressed.... jeebus Version 5 did many things to improve the speed of the control, the most significant for me was removing the tile overfetching: http://www.soulsolutions.com.au/Blog/tabid/73/EntryID/133/Default.aspx But yes the javascript is very big (IE and firefox will download the GZIP compressed versions) and a modular system would be awesome. It would be interesting to see what would be the savings though. For example if the specific birdseye functionlaity was only say 10KB compressed, the expense of another file to download may not be worth it, if it was 25KB maybe that is different John. - map.ShowMiniMap(); I get a default MiniMap display . . . but it will not render the same way it appears on the interactive SDK as well as "maps.live.com". Both of these views show a centered map with a white 6 pixil border with a 1 pixil #cbcbcb stroke around that. The MiniMap that renders on my page is right justified and almost blends into the main map behind and shows 12 pixils of white on the left. Is this something that needs to be manipulated with CSS inside of the ShowMiniMap Method Or, because this is a default rendering of the MiniMap is one just stuck with what you get If this can be fixed or manipulated somehow --- can this Method then be called and placed inside of a moving div that is similar to what appears on the maps.live.com site or what I was able to develop with the Google API I searched everything I could before I posted but I have had no luck finding any documentation pertaining to the MiniMap other than the very basic MSDN examples in ShowMinMap under VEMap Methods. - IE crashing when adding pushpins to my site in 3D mode ! Okay now I am confused. First of all I know where the log file should have been, and it¡¯s not there, sorry. And when I go to map.live.com and hit the 3D button there is no problem at all. - SetCustomIcon pointing to local image file does not work in v5 I tried this and I keep getting the little red X square box saying it can't find my image. I know this image is correct. - map.GetRoute loses metric unit after user selects from amibiguous location Hi guys, I'm trying to return directions in kilometres and the current code works fine when the user enters a disambiguous location, but, when an ambiguous location is entered and the user selects one from the subsequent list of possible locations, the corresponding directions returned and in miles. It seems like the handler for ambiguous locations doesn't remember the parameter for unit of measurement that I specified in the original map.GetRoute call - is this a bug or have I not set a parameter that I'm supposed to For an example of directions in Miles, mouse over one of the pushpins and type in "Sydney" - then from the list of possible locations, select "Sydney, New South Wales, Australia". - true cirlces on the map I need to draw circles on the map and I have found the posts that have the function to draw true circles by using polygons, but I was wondering at what point does the polygon stop looking like a circle I'm going to be drawing circles with a radius of no more than 5 miles (Most of them will have a 300 ft radius). I created a circle, using the polygon function I found in the forum, with a radius of 150 miles and it looked like a normal circle. As long as download is coming from Microsoft's website and is digitally signed by Microsoft, you can be sure that the download package is legitimate and okay to install. You can also go to http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/downloads.aspx and download Silverlight directly.

My anti-virus software detected the same thing. While I know MS would not put a virus in their product (it would be slightly counter productive) I am concerned that Silverlight is interacting with something in IE 6 to create a virus like glitch.
Is this possible

Don't suppose you could post what the make and version of your virus scanner and any other information that it displays such as the type of virus it thinks it is.
