where has the embed in facebook option gone?

Hi All,

I can see an option for a project to "Post to facebook" but not to "embed in facebook".

Any advice on this

Hi,

What sort of project are you trying to embed You may need to go to the "details" page to see all the options which you can find at:
http://www.popfly.ms/users/YourUserName/YourProjectName.details
You can also see it as "Project Details" on the my projects page.

Hi and thanks for your reply.

Yep thats where I go to look for the embed in facebook link. All I've got under a facebook heading on right side of project page is:

Post item on facebook
Add to my profile

When using the "Add to my profile" menu option it does look like it is doing what the "embed in facebook" action does, just all the videos and tutorials I've seen have the latter menu option in the project details page.

2 further things FYI please.

1. When initially getting a key in response to the missing key message on the facebook block - I get the following error after clicking the blue button labelled "Get Login code for Popfly Mashups Datasource"

"You must specify an API key by specifying "api_key=YOUR_API_KEY" in the URL."

2. When choosing "add to my profile" on project details page, when I click "Do it" button on the "Add a Popfly Maship to your Profile" I get the following message:

"Oops, it seems something went wrong. We're not going to bore you with the technical jargon as that's on it's way to our developers. Feel free to try again in case the issue was temporary."

Thanks will look into them.

We have seen the query string we pass into Facebook go missing, normally just after you install the application for the first time. Unfortunatley we're a "desktop" application so we don't have much way to interact with the Facebook install workflow . So we're lookign to make more sense of that in future.

On the second point i'll have a look at the event log - as the error you encountered is logged and might contain some usefull information...

I hope you look at it asap. Because link on the profile does not seem fine. Project should be seen in profile.
