Unfortunately, the Silverlight overlay (with the mashup info, ratings, and Silverlight info) covers up the "go" button and therefore my mashup no longer works. Based upon everything, this is what I am thinking of to sync the contacts database with my external one: Only do below steps if last modficed date for the contacts list has changed - use conditional GET, last-modified-since 1. fetch all the contacts and all the tags 2. do a checksum on XML text for each individual contact and store that in my own database 3. convert tags into a category list (using XPath) for each contact and do a checksum on each of these pieces of text and store 4.     - Isn’t popfly about developing blocks, mashups and sharing/using them? I was creating a block using JS and XML. As a newbie, I wrote down the code using Visual Studio 2005 and copy/pasted it to popfly block editor. Then I thought popfly explorer would be much easier then copy/paste method. But I had no idea that it is possible to create projects using C# or VB.NET (the one I prefer) and share my source over popfly. I noticed the project search feature on popfly explorer and took a glimpse of what the others are doing. C# projects are all around and I’m a little confused now after spending my weekend trying to create my copy/pasted poor block on VS2005 using only JS and XML. Now the question is: Isn’t popfly about developing blocks, mashups and sharing/using them on a website, VistaDesktop, etc. Is it possible to make a block using VB.NET If so, what are the necessary files I'm planning to create a block to read XML file on URL specified by user, and output the nodes which contian values...     - Windows Live One Care Safety Scanner Hi, I'm in touch with someone in charge of the Windows Live OneCare Safety Center at Microsoft - Redmond. He was not aware of the issue. He aked to send him a few screen shows describing the trouble I am facing with, I followed step by step his recommandations to troubeshoot this problem, but I can't fix the issue. There is a corrupted ActiveX that can't be deleted and the OneCare Safety Center is out of date. I tried on the pc of my cousin who never installed WLOC Safety Center before and there is also a loop, impossible to launch the scanner. The problem seems to be affected the users in Europe, but not statesite. A lot of Dutch, French and Bristish users can't use the WLOC Safety Center. I do think that Microsoft will look into this matter deeply, as a lot of users can't use the Scanner anymore and it's been lasting for two weeks now... Let's wait and see. I'm not sure what your requirements are, but you are more than welcome to explore being hosted using our servers and on our platform. Our platform is very stable, and the service does not need to be restarted that often to keep agents running - usually we only restart when a major configuration change occurs. I can put you in contact with the right person if you would like to explore this further and see if it is right for your business. Assuming that you've already looked into being hosted by us and running on our platform, I'm following up with the Windows Live ID team to see if there is anything they can do to help.     - Article: Redesign the Virtual Earth Dashboard You see now you have all the ID it makes it easer to do all this. The answer is yes I spent about 4 hours with Firebug getting all that data, 3D mode is fun to figure out in firefox! I decided in the class column to put the exact class used in the VE css for the image as I assume most people would simply want to change it to there own image at the same dimensions. Then, when the right-most image is clicked, the leftmost image is brought to the center. When the left-most image is clicked, the right-most image is centered. So if they want to go to a specific page on your site, they should be able to, because they are still validated. Some people have success by uninstall and then get latest Adobe Flash player (v9) installed first and re-install Messenger. Can't see how that would help myself. You can always use the client via the Internet http://webmessenger.msn.com/ Failing that try installing Messenger 7.5 - so it is not the latest version but at least it seems to be more stable than version 8.1!     - User Input Blocks I'm not sure I understand why this would yield the results I'm seeing. If I create a mashup that has only the Stock Quotes block, the data is returned properly consistenly regardless of what ticker symbol I use. However, when I pass data to the Stock Quotes block from the UserInput block, that's when the trouble starts. That would indicate to me that the problem exists in the passing of information betweem the two Popfly blocks and not the web service call. Hi,

Is it possible to hide or remove the endLocation flag that appears at the destination for driving directions

I have a custom icon that appears at the destination but is being drawn over by this flag.

I am aware that there is a DeletePushpin(ID) method but I am unable to determine the ID of the flag I want to remove. Is there a consistent ID this flag is always created with or is there some way to determine the ID of the flag

No the ID for the last flag is not consistant. The only way I can think about doing what you want is to call deleteallpins(), then re-adding them in (provided you stored them from the route itinerary). Finally stick the start flag pin on the start driving location to finish.
