enmashed flies

My mashup runs with Mozilla, without any qualms but when I load it in explorer i get a page error.

I thought it would be the other way around. What kind of bugs are there with programming that might cause IE to just shut down

Could you share the URL for the page

We develop for both IE and FF which means they both get there share of bugs ;-) sometimes not the same bugs for each...

There is a fair few differences with FF and IE mostly around the handling of web requests and XML but normally those errors generate script errors. Before IE shutdown did you see an "Operation Aborted" exception

Thanks!

okay. the url is http://skyge.com.au
I tried correcting the error and made http://skyge.com.au/index/

Yes it is an operation aborted message
It also sometimes has an error from charlie_live about the Live.Space Block

Hmm, the operation aborted exceptions in IE are normally caused when javascript modifies it's parent element as well issues with tables missing tbody elements. Unfortunatley they are hard to debug :-(. But will have a look, there also seems to be other issues on the page.

How did you embed the mashup It seems that it's embedded inline as all our URLs are relative it's trying to fetch files from your domain that don't exist but that normally would if running from our domain.

well i embedded the file with i-frame
with the exception of /index/
where i embedded with i-frame but saved all the files as they now pointed to directorys on my hardrive. After saving the file and uploading the file/s to my domain which were saved on my computer

Hi There,

Unfortunately I can't see the mashup that you embedded with Iframe. The site seems to be something else now

The mashup in an Iframe should simply work for embedding in any web page on Firefox or IE. Would you let me know the user name and mashup name so that I can try it out

Thanks!
