    - height:100% not working with v6 Hi I had exactly the same problem, I had a look at maps.live.com using the IE developer toolbar, and I could see that they had their map inside a container that did have a fixed height, but the height changed as I changed the size of the window, so to get around it I handled the onresize event of the body and and set the height of the container equal to the document.documentelement.clientHeight. This solved the issue for me, but there may well be a better fix. Something else I found was that it no longer seemed to like bringing in my stylesheet, has anyone else experienced that Tag: Retrieve Live contacts ASP.net

    - WLM 8.1.178 has a problem with Accessibility under XP SP1 limited user??? I used AccExplorer32.exe on Windows Live Messenger 8.1.178. It had a runtime error and quit.     - Simple example of shading zip-code boundaries using Virtual Earth Great code there, especially with the ajax.net implementation. Web services are definately very powerful with VE and allows for dynamic grabbing of data. I'm definately looking forward to seeing more of these, especially if anyone can write a "hello world" type of application using VE and Ajax.net / web services to help those who have no experience with either technologies.     - How to set pan-speed? Thank you for your answer, i had the feeling that i miss sth somewhere. A "solution" or better very bad workaround is to set the zoom to a value, which isnt close. And then after this immediately (so that the first setting of the zoom wouldnt be visible) set it to the zoom + location to that point where i want it to be.     - Commisioning Aerial Photography Hi Duncan Thanks for your reply. The cost for this commission would be shared across several projects and would not be specific to this website. There is already in place a (non web related) commission for some aerial photography in the local area and we were wondering what would be involved in taking some Virtual Earth specific photographs on the same 'mission' Even if we only got a single useable shot of the main Town Centre area it would be worth overlaying the existing tiles, many of which have changed considerably since the original photographs were taken. I do not think we would need to regularly update the photographs. The town has had a lot of development since the existing photographs were taken some 8 years ago. This development phase is now complete and there are not likely to be any major updates for the foreseeable future. I guess the question I am trying to ask is whether any aerial photography company would be able supply images suitable for use with Virtual Earth or does it have to be a company that specific have set up to take these sort of photographs. e.g are the 'specialist cameras' very specific to this sort of aerial photography or will existing aerial phography companies have access to them. Obviously I will discuss this with the company in question but I just wanted to know the 'right' questions to ask from a Virtual Earth developers point of view. Thanks again. When the VE divs start it is the fourth div: <DIV class=VE_PlaceList id=myMap_veplacelistpanel> the child of that DIV is <A class=VE_PlaceList_Title> The odd thing about this behavior is that on another aspx page that uses "Driving Directions", we use the same javascript and make the same method call (all in the SDK) and the behavior of the map and the resulted directions is perfect. With this new page and the identical javascript using the same methods we get a "pop-up" that must be submitted (clicked on) by the user after which the directions continue rendering. We are going to ship it with only the directions on the one page if necessary but would rather have the MSN WiFi Hotspot Locator look and behave the way we would expect it to. We have 2 days left to resolve this issue before code test is finished and the enlistment is locked for shipping. I have experimented a bit more and I don't know if it's my imagination or not but the map seems to get slower when adding 100 VEShapes vs 100 VEPushPins.     - Boolean output You need blocks that consume boolean values if you expect outputs other than "true/false". Popfly provides some blocks, e.g., "Filter", that takes condition variables. You can write your own block or customize the javascript in advanced view if you need further control of the output. For practice, I shared a simple "IIf" block, and a test project below that consumes one boolean value.
