    - Determining the unique message ID Sorry...by the way you asked the first question it sounded like you wanted to get the MessageID of a previously sent message. The message id can be anything you like e.g. a GUID which is what i've always used as they are guaranteed to be unique.     - multiple routes What Derek was saying earlier is that with the V4 API of VE you cannot do this. As far as I can tell V5 (released in the last few weeks) doesn't offer this yet, either. You could try capturing the SVG polyline and RouteIntinerary that results as you're looping through your point pairs, converting all the pixels in the polyline to latlongs and then rendering it as one large polyline with manually placed flags for the routesegment pins. I think it could be done, and actually got a little ways towards completing it but was told to stop because my company will wait for MS to implement this in VE, rather than hack our own solution.     - Custom Disambiguation - results link to what? I'm trying to do something seemingly simple, but not having much luck. I'm using the example in the Visual SDK for custom disambiguation. After I search for a 'where', the list of possibilities is displayed in my custom disambigiation box, but clicking on one of the results then displays the default disambiguation box with the same results. In the example, each result in the custom box is a link to map.Find(null, resultName) , where resultName is the full name of the result. According to the SDK, this name string should represent Virtual Earth's unambiguous name for the location -- so why is a disambiguation dialog displayed when it is passed as the 'where' for a Find. An example of this not working can be seen if you search for: Maltby, United Kingdom. Two results are returned: Maltby, England, United Kingdom Maltby, Stockton-on-Tess, England, United Kingdom Selecting the first result just starts the disambiguation loop again. Only the second result is unambiguous. What should I link each result to in order for the disambiguation to actually work, that is, just return a single result.     - RSS + Yahoo Term Extration Multiplicity Problem Hi, I have been creating a very simple sample that will use the yahoo term extraction block over an rss feed. Therefore, I have a default RSS block (with the default URL) in, joined up to the Yahoo Term Extration block (with a sentance as the RSS title and the termHelpExtraction as a Custom empty field). My problem is that the term extraction reports the results over and over multiple times, it seems that the RSS block passes the source element into the Yahoo term extraction block multiple times. I don't think it is a problem with the Yahoo block because if I replace the Yahoo Term extraction block with a TextHelper block using the append method (the first element is the RSS title, and the second is something like PAUL), again the title element is repeated many more times than necessary. It looks the item is repeated for each element in the RSS block.     - Cant display pushpin in 3D map control In addition, Can you try the interactive SDK "Import data into shape layers" -> "add a GeoRSS layer" followed by switching to 3D mode If you can't see the pushpins in 3D, it sounds like a computer performance issue. I'm not seeing any issues adding GeoRSS Layers and showing them in 3D from my side. I noticed that your using the old deprecated V4 method of manually adding pushpins. Keep in mind in V5 the model for adding pins is different and you may want to investigate into using shapes instead or going back to GeoRSS Feeds as they should work in 3D.     - Invite, please The process isn't fully automatic. The Popfly team will say "ok, we can send more invitations!", and then the people on the waitlist are sent invitations (an automated process). Please read my previous post in this thread on how to request an invitation. We don't want people to expect an invitation right after they request one - it's not that quick! By all means let us know if you've been waiting weeks for an invitation (you shouldn't have to wait that long!), but this isn't the best place to ask for an invitation. This time the problem is: Code Snippet map.AddControl(toolbar, 1); This is erroring causing the rest of the GetMap function to not run, so EventMapLoad is never run. The reason is you are trying to add a control but 'toolbar' is not defined anywhere in your javascript. I expect you are trying to add the div with the id of toolbar If so then change this line to: Code Snippet map.AddControl(getElementyById('toolbar'), 1); And step through the code to ensure that EventMapLoad is now getting called. So the lat/long is separated by a space in that case you could modify the geo rss to fetch the value of <georss oint> and then use the split method to get the values.
