Hi,

When clicking on the <msnim:add contact=mike@hotmail.com> from an email or browser link, not only does it add the contact to your buddy list (as exepcted) but it also opens a new browser window (unexpected) and hides all the other open windows. This is very annoying behaviour, and I really hope this is going to be fixed asap. The browser window is a completely redundant aspect of the msnin:add functionality so I figure it must be a bug

I have experienced this on Vista and XP and on IE 6 & 7.

Has this been identified as a bug by the Windows Live team, if so when will it be fixed It makes the use of the msnim:add link almost impossible. We came across this during our Transformers agent campaign and we feel it resulted in a very bad user experience, and even prevented users from knowing the agent had been added to their contact list.

thanks for a quick response

Mike
