I have a plugin derived from SmartContentSource. It appears that the default when WLW actually inserts the HTML content is to wrap it in a DIV tag. Is it possible to change this so that it wraps it in a SPAN instead

Even though the DIV tag has a style set to

"PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; DISPLAY: inline; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; MARGIN: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px"

I still ran into an issue where an extra P tag was being inserted just before the DIV when I published the post. The only way to resolve this was to change it to a span.

That is an interesting issue. Could any WLW MSFT provide feedback
