I there a way to add maps to mappoint . I have detailed maps of mexico and know how to transfer them to different formats.

You mean Virtual Earth You can use mapcruncher to generate and overlay the appropriate tiles on VE. I've found that following the tutorials has been pretty straightforward and easy to plot on even VE5 maps.

There really isn't any documentation or articles on how to pull this off using the Mappoint Web Service nor do I know of anyone who has tried such an approach so your realistically looking to do this in VE.
