    - Problem with my tile layer I think the issue is a misunderstanding of how tile layers work. The TileSource you specify will be requested for every tile in view. So if you specify a single static URI, then that image will appear on all tiles in view. If you have a single image you want positioned somewhere on the map, then you need to use a tool like MapCruncher to position it and break it up into tiles. If it's already exactly the size of one tile, then you need to use the bounding box to make the request only happen for one tile. Tag: Live Expo application key issue

I'm running it on IE version 6.0.2900.2180 with a 128-bit Cipher strength under XP Service Pack 2 Machine specs are completely up to scratch, and i know it's not machine dependent, as the guys in our IT department haven't been able to get it to work either....     - Problems with LifeCam VX 3000 software I installed the vx-3000 on Vista 32bit with the latest software and it work just fine. I tried it on a Vista 64-bit OS, and I have the same problems that " jaycee 61 " has mentioned. I talked to microsoft tech support (the last thing I would ever do) and the guy has no idea what is going on. So, I guess we have to wait for a patch or try a different brand.     - Logging in!!!! I have been checking out several diffrent things about the login sessions and watching how things work. I have noticed that the Live Messenger will log you in and keeps you logged in accross sites and throughout browser sessions. Basicly although I logg in with Live ID I am trying to keep authenticated when using an embeded browser. I am trying to work with it with an MSE but they cant give me the answers either.     - HIGH QUALITY VIDEO on Messenger Live This is a bit irritating but it seems that online video chats haven't really advanced in the past few years. Even though me and my brother are both in NYC, both on a 5MB download, 1MB Upload unbelievably fast Cable internet connection, Video chat still looks the way it did 3 years ago when we were on a 512kbps dsl, and not THAT different then it did when we were on 33,600 dial up modem. WHATS THE DEAL Why can't we get proper high resolution video streaming off each other at 640x480 and 24fps Or even higher for gods sake, my dual core machine with 4GB of ram could handle this!     - Error code 80070002 cant sign in in WLM 8 - NOT YET SOLVED Hi, I had the same problem, for me the solution was to generate a new user on the computer. No idea why but it worked. Previous doing this I deleted ppcrlconfig.dll located under the documents and settings\all users\"a hidden folder"\microsoft\identitycrl\ I dont know the english name for the hidden folder, norwegian windows version you see..... But it was only two hidden folders there. So remember to set the folder all users to show hidden files. This is done under the tools menu. Hope this works for you to. Please tell me the result.     - Commisioning Aerial Photography Hi Duncan Thanks for your reply. The cost for this commission would be shared across several projects and would not be specific to this website. There is already in place a (non web related) commission for some aerial photography in the local area and we were wondering what would be involved in taking some Virtual Earth specific photographs on the same 'mission' Even if we only got a single useable shot of the main Town Centre area it would be worth overlaying the existing tiles, many of which have changed considerably since the original photographs were taken. I do not think we would need to regularly update the photographs. The town has had a lot of development since the existing photographs were taken some 8 years ago. This development phase is now complete and there are not likely to be any major updates for the foreseeable future. I guess the question I am trying to ask is whether any aerial photography company would be able supply images suitable for use with Virtual Earth or does it have to be a company that specific have set up to take these sort of photographs. e.g are the 'specialist cameras' very specific to this sort of aerial photography or will existing aerial phography companies have access to them. Obviously I will discuss this with the company in question but I just wanted to know the 'right' questions to ask from a Virtual Earth developers point of view. Thanks again.     - PopFly Suggestions I think that the Ability to "Rollback" on a project would be good, and to have different revisions ( so you can always referance back to a baseline, previous save ) might also be helpful. Also, the ability to leave yourself project specific notes might also be handy ( in case you have to leave a project half done etc ) Just ideas that I thought might help make Poyfly even better. There are many parts of the globe where VE doesn't have hybrid or aerial imagery at the close zoom levels; they just have grey images with a circle around a camera with a bar through it. I guess 1 question, does this appear to anyone using the v5 and v4 of the mapping control or just me Just making sure it is not just me I added 2 buttons, 1 to show the dashboard and 1 to hide the dashboard, it will load hidden and then user can click on show to see it I guess. i've been getting the following error about 1/3 of the time when accessing Live Expo. i am using the same application key. is there a limit on the # of accesses/queries allowed for a given key during a time period has anybody run into similiar problems

This is still occurring. Is there anybody from MS in this forum I understand the API is in Beta but this looks like a setup problem that somebody from MS should look into. How do people test the API if this error keeps popping up
