In windows media player 11 the windows live messenger plugin is ticked and in windows live messenger>tools.options the box is ticked to allow people to see what am listening to in media player. As well as this the box is also ticked when u go to drop down list in the personal message to show what am listening to. I totally cant understand y it wont work, any ideas

I too have the same problem so I cannot help you here. I also noticed (you may have noriced this too) the properties button is greyed out. I wonder if that also contributes to the problem.

CHARLIE GOD

1) Enable the Now Playing option in MSN,2) Go to your MSN Messenger (Windows Live Messenger) folder in Program Files,3) Find the "msgrapp.dll" file,4) Copy it to your Windows Media Player 11 folder (in Program Files too),5) Restart your playFor Windows Media Player 11, do the following: 1) Open Windows Media Player 112) Under the "Now Playing" tab, click "more Options"3) In the "Plug-ins" tab there will be a category list box. In that list box click Background. To the right of it should be the "windows Live Messenger Music Plug-in" Make sure that is checked. ... RESTART MEDIA PLAYER 11, it all works guys

However if i have a song in a shared folder on windows live messenger and open it through there the song is displayed. I certainly think this problem only happens with vista computers

I have the same problem.

However my option to "show what i'm listening to" when I try to 'apply' it, a pop-up message says that feature is only available with WMP Ver. 9 or later. I have WMP VER. 11 !

In windows media player 11 the windows live messenger plugin is ticked

My live messenger is Version 2008, my WMP is Ver. 11 and my OS is Windows XP Home Edition.

HELP!!!
